Entellect is a technology and consulting company providing business intelligence services to a variety of industries Australia-wide and internationally. It was founded in Melbourne in 2016 by Dr Lloyd Peters and Dr Adele Thomas. Noticing a gap for a one-stop place for historical and predictive analytics, Lloyd and Adele through a series of opportunities presenting themselves and support from family and friends have combined to create Entellect.

Our Team
Dr Lloyd holds a PhD in pure mathematics from Monash University. His passion for studying and solving hard problems, which has given him many firsts, has taken him through research, commercial and consulting roles to finally creating Entellect. The industry firsts has not only added value to organisations, but is slowly being applied to industries as a whole. He has published his research in the journals of the Australian Mathematical society and the Cambridge Philosophical Society. Co-founder & Managing Director
Dr Adele holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Port Elizabeth (now NMMU). Adele’s interests in research and analysis has taken her through many cutting edge research institutions, and has seen her publish in numerous reputed scientific journals. Currently being the passionate primary carer for her two young children, Adele has chosen to be a Non-Executive Director, and fulfils needs on projects when required.
Business Intelligence Specialist
A business intelligence consultant with experience in BI reporting, data cleaning, web scraping, data visualisation and machine learning. Proficient with a wide variety of data science tools including R, Python, SQL, SAS and Microsoft Visio.
Solution Architecture Specialist
Dave is an experienced Enterprise Architect with 30+ years of IT and SDLC experience across a wide range of industries, applications and technologies. Focused on creating measurable business value for organisations to achieve the promise and success that new methods of operation, channels to market and disruptive technologies can create.
The key word used to describe Dave is passionate. In that he always has a firm understanding of the business needs and goals, as well as the supporting vision to see these enabled and implemented via new processes, organisational change and / or technology solutions.
This passion is embodied in all initiative communications and deliverables with ability to engage senior business, technology stakeholders or other participants in language that is plain and simple e.g. technology garble removed.

More than 15 years’ experience in software development and the last 6 years dedicated to data migration for various organisations in Australia, UK and the Middle East. Prepared business requirements and scoping documents, data migration strategies, plans, processes and project reports.
Project management of data migration for ‘data centre transformations’ and data integrations (for Data Warehouse/BI). Applied best practice, Prince2/Waterfall and Agile/Scrum principles. Strategies to ensure Projects are delivered to scope, time-frame and budget.
